Cloned from a sample of Captain America's blood that HYDRA was able to get ahold of, Magnvarr was raised in secret as a somewhat normal girl with two HYDRA agents acting as her parents and indoctrinated from a young age in the mentality and endgame goals and beliefs of HYDRA. Although originally slated to continue training to become HYDRA's leader and mother of a more perfect race, the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier forced her out of normality and into hiding, something she resents him for, and now her due date to fight and kill the Captain has been moved up substantially.
Despite this, she can be light hearted, giggly and utterly harmless the rest of the time, as she still doesn't quite grasp she's on the wrong side of this fight.
